My ceramics are slab built forms. I am interested in the multi layered surface design. I use layers of slips, coloured clay and various drawing methods to create my designs. Sketch books and painting are a essential part of my artistic journey. I explore mark making on paper using layers of mixed media. This includes paint, print, collage. Free drawing and painting in my sketch book help create the ideas that may progress to working on clay.
